Certification of building chemistry is carried out according to system 1 or 2+ depending on the type, purpose, and requirements for the given product.

System 1 obliges the manufacturer to:

implementation of factory production control

conducting type tests in an independent testing laboratory

testing product samples according to an established testing plan in factory production control

The task of the accredited/notified certifying body is to issue a certificate of product performance properties after a positive assessment:

type testing

factory production control

production facility after conducting an initial inspection at the production site

The condition for maintaining the building chemistry certificate is continuous supervision of the unit over the FPC conducted through annual factory inspections.

System 2+ obliges the manufacturer to:

implementation of factory production control

conducting assessments of product performance properties based on testing

conducting tests according to a plan established in factory production control

The task of the accredited/notified certifying body is to issue a factory production control compliance certificate based on a positive assessment of FPC and the production facility after conducting an initial inspection at the production site.

Upon obtaining the certificate, the manufacturer can:

issue a declaration of performance

mark the product with the CE mark or the B mark

introduce the product into circulation

The condition for maintaining the aforementioned certificate is continuous supervision of the unit over the FPC conducted through annual factory inspections.
