NEW CPR – CHANGES TO THE REGULATION ON CONSTRUCTION PRODUCT MARKING

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for another session of our training on changes to the regulation governing the marking of construction products.

The detailed training programme covers the following topics:

• The new CPR, its application and transitional periods, as well as the format of product marking and the Declaration of Performance and Conformity.

• Mandatory certification under system 3.

• Coexistence of the current CPR with the new rules related to CE marking.

• The procedure for developing a harmonised standard.

• The amendment to the current CPR introducing system 3+ – scope of application, entry into force and the product groups to which it will apply.

• Implementation timeframes and application dates for different product groups.

• Environmental Product Declarations, including carbon footprint: when they are a formal obligation, when they are a market requirement, and how requirements differ across EU countries.

• The procedure for harmonising standards with the new CPR, the role of c-PCR documents and revision of harmonised standards.

• Digital Product Passport.
