2nd Edition: New PN-EN 206 Series (EN 206-1, EN 206-2, EN 206-3) for Ready-Mixed Concrete – What Changes for Producers (FPC, Testing, Certification, Marking)

We are pleased to invite you to the second edition of our training session on the new PN-EN 206 series (EN 206-1, EN 206-2, EN 206-3) for ready-mixed concrete.

The standards have been published by CEN (European Committee for Standardization), while their Polish PN-EN publication is planned for August 2026. They will provide a new basis for marking ready-mixed concrete with the Polish Building Mark B.

The training covers the following topics:

• Status of EN 206-1, EN 206-2 and EN 206-3 and the planned transitional periods for concrete producers.

• Scope of application of the individual parts of EN 206-1/2/3.

• Key changes concerning concrete performance characteristics, testing methodology and assessment criteria.

• Requirements for initial testing and for the finished-product test plan, including required test frequencies.

• Factory Production Control (FPC) requirements – supervision of inspection and measuring equipment, machinery, documentation and records.

• EN 206-2 – conformity assessment and certification procedure for ready-mixed concrete.

• EN 206-3 – additional requirements for concrete used in special geotechnical works.

• Rules for marking ready-mixed concrete after the changes – KDWU (National Declaration of Performance), the Polish Building Mark B and the WZ document: what information must appear in the documentation and on labels.
